Zen Word for Better Communication #36 雨奇晴好 Uki-Seikoh

It’s fine if it’s sunny, and it’s also fine if it rains.

If it’s sunny, just enjoy the pleasant weather; if it’s raining, accept the situation and enjoy the scenery that can only be seen in the rain.

This applies not only to the weather but also to the environment around you.

To avoid being swayed by your surroundings in life, it’s important to accept your environment.

When things are going well, enjoy it; when facing difficulties or failure, accept the situation, use it as fuel to move forward, and the path will naturally open up.

It never stays sunny forever, nor does it rain forever.

It’s important to accept things as they are, be grateful for your circumstances, and simply decide to give it a try. With your own will and effort, you will move forward.

To succeed in business in Japan, it’s not about avoiding the rain, but about understanding the value of both rain and sunshine.
